Hello Team!
6:15 set off from the centre again for the road session on Tuesday!
Session 1-
We will be ripping into some 1k reps this week! 5 of them to be exact. The rest will be an open recovery because there's a little loop we will be doing them on 👌… That way we can gauge how we are feeling between each and get stronger reps in rather than regimenting that recovery for race specificity at this stage 😁 (5x1k, open rest)
Session 2-
Hill session for a change this week 🤣
10 x 30 seconds on the hill, good effort on the climb and a walk/jog down recovery.
The key is to maintain good form, power & speed for the full 30 seconds. If you fancy an added challenge try to increase your speed every 10 seconds. This is a key technique to building that mental strength to push when everything is screaming no 💪
We will be reintroducing the Thursday sessions in about 3/4 weeks time but I can't commit to them personally at the minute.. But feel free to organise some Thursday sessions as we have in the past in the group 👍
