Despite the lack of races this year due to Covid NAC has had a great turnout at the races which have taken place. We've had runners at races most weekends since early June including: Langstrath Fell race, Cross Border 10K, each of the Castle 5K series, Carlisle 10K, Hawkshead 15K trail, Not Round Latrigg,The GNR and Parkruns at Keswick, Workington and Whinlatter.
A highlight has been Tom Saby completing the Bob Graham in 20 hours and 4 minutes. A superb achievement by Tom and a thoroughly enjoyable day of running and support by many club members who were with him on the day. He then went onto complete the Old Crown Round two weeks later with Adam Frankham.
Although NAC has only been in existence for a few years, our men's team took first place at Round Latrigg and our Ladies team came first at Buttermere. We're putting our name on the map! We had a huge turnout of runners at both Buttermere and Round Latrigg with over 20 members at each event, which matched the biggest turnout of any club there.
